12/18/07:
Happy holidays from Muzaic!
Muzaic plans on having a relaxing break from playing live until Jan. 5th, but until then, new songs are in the works. Keep your ears open in Lafayette and as we kick off our east coast tour on Jan. 16 in NY.

12/5/07:
Thanks to everyone who's been voting for us over the last few months on the  Jambands.com 250 poll. After winning it back in August/September, we've been holding down the top 5 or so on every poll since. Thanks for the great support.

8/18/07:
Make sure to head over to Jambands.com to answer the question "Which of these artists has left you most impressed with its development over the past year?"
...You know the right answer

We're moving up quickly and are currently in 11th place. According to the website, the idea behind the poll is "to get a sense of what's happening out there," so take the time to vote (multiple times a day, if you're so inclined) to prove that Muzaic is your favorite up and coming band.

Toiletry Music Festival has been rescheduled and will now be held in Crown Point, IN at the Lake County Fairgrounds on October 13th.
If you just can't wait until Toiletry, come see us at Music Evolution's "Festival of Life" (9/29 - 30)  just northeast of Indy or Angel Mounds Music Festival (10/12) in Evansville.

8/17/07:
The last few months we've been spending much of our spare time up in Indy working on our new album. So far, nine basic tracks are done, and we plan on being in the studio as much as possible in September to record some new songs and finish up the songs we've already been working on.

You can preview a raw version of our new tune "Thick" at our myspace page,
or download it here.

Thanks to Owl Studios for the wonderful facilities and hospitality (not to mention all the great food)

8/14/07:
Hoosier Daddy Records and Muzaic have just joined forces and giant steps are being taken. They will be helping us with promotion and booking, along with designing a brand new website which you will be seeing soon.  We're also working with them to set up a solid regional tour all over the Midwest leading up to and culminating with Halloween, so check back often for new dates.

6/27/07:
!!!Toiletry Music Fest has been rescheduled!!!!
Our gig this upcoming Saturday in Wanataw is being rescheduled, and will be taking place some time in August. Sorry for the late notice, we just all found out too!!
We're still on to rock the house at Fester's on Friday though. We've had a few weeks off, so a special show is in the works for B-town this weekend.

6/07:
Everyone be sure to vote for Muzaic in Lollapalooza's Last Band Standing.
We're rockin' the top 10 thanks to everyone's great support, so keep voting!
If you don't have time to vote every day, we'll vote for you! Just send an e-mail to contact@muzaic.net and all you have to do is confirm your vote when you check your e-mail.

5/15/07:
Check out our new picture gallery. It has been recently updated with lots of great pics from over the years.
There are also some new tunes on our music page, as well as a link to buy the album.

4/23/07:
Thanks to everyone who came out to support Muzaic and Long Distance Affair on 4/20. We had a great time playing to a good and rowdy Fester's crowd that was in true Little 5 weekend form. I hope everyone loved Hank's mullet as much as we did:

1/9/07:
Happy N
ew Year from Muzaic!
2006 has been a great year for us. We played around 45 great shows, including the New Moon Music Fest, Angel Mounds Music Fest, a silly wedding, numerous benefits, and some great after-parties. We traveled to Illinois and Kentucky, played a soundtrack to a movie while wearing robes, and released the greatest album you have ever heard. Most importantly, we've been able to make some really great friends by doing what we love most. Thank you guys so much for a great year! Here's to a big 2007!

7/15/06:
Glide Magazine has this to say about our debut album Hundred Acre Parlor:

Hailing from the cornfields of [Bloomington], IN, ...feeding off of a vibrant music scene, they formed a sound heavily influenced by the Talking Heads, Cake, a little Miles Davis, and even a bit of James Brown. Those nods are easy to pick out, but each of the fifteen tracks on their debut record, Hundred Acre Parlor, speaks of originality with a remarkably different tone than the previous selection. From funk to jazz fusion to alt-rock, this typical first album smorgasbord makes you give up trying to guess what the next tune will sound like. It's a solid debut from beginning to end.

7/13/06:
Our summer tour in support of Hundred Acre Parlor has been great, and we would all like to thank our friends, family, and especially the new fans we have picked up along the way. All of you have made it possible for us to keep playing as much as we can, and everywhere we go, we are always met with an enthusiastic crowd.

4/13/06:
Hundred Acre Parlor, Muzaic's debut album, is finally done!!! We will be having a CD release party at Uncle Fester's here in Bloomington on April 21st (Little 500 Weekend!!). Come out and get your copy at the show and you will receive a special discount!!

2/21/06:
Hey everybody, The Parlor is back up for everyone's enjoyment. It's sporting a new look (and new software), and hopefully our problems with hackers are over.

1/8/06:
Muzaic would like to wish everyone a very happy new year. Thanks to all our fans for making '05 a year to be remembered.

We've been working hard to get the album done as soon as possible. Although it has taken longer than we expected, it's nearing completion, and we want to make sure the final product is worth all the effort we've put into it. For those of you who just can't wait any longer, we have some songs from the album available for your listening pleasure. Visit our myspace.com page and you can either stream or download songs from the album. Enjoy.

10/25/05:
Muzaic's debut album is in the works, and hopefully will be done within the next few months. We've been working very hard on it and we will have it ready to release as soon as possible. As the album nears completion, we'll put some preview tracks here on the website, so be sure to visit frequently.
